USEFUL INFORMATION
I have added some useful information below and will try and keep this updated depending on how often airlines change their routes etc. Unfortunately it is aimed at the British market for obvious reasons. Everybody is welcome, please do not hesitate to email us, if you need any help.
AIRPORTS - FLIGHTS
Chania Airport (CHQ) (40.2 km), is the closest airport to to Souri Village
Heraklion Airport (HER) (112 km), is further from Souri Village, but the costal drive with stunning views can pass away the time quickly.
The airlines below all fly to Crete and are dependant on the season and the route. If you cannot fly directly to Crete, try fly to Athens and then on to Crete.

CAR HIRE
I have added a few car rental companies to make life a little easier, their are plenty to choose from. We can recommend the companies below, Flisvos car hire is local to the resort and proberly the best option, just incase you have any problems. Always check the condition of the car when you pick it up, take photos it you have to.

MAKING YOUR HOLIDAY EASIER

Hire a car from your destination Airport, before leaving home

Stop at a local shop before getting to the resort and pick up drinking water, toilet rolls (just encase), breakfast, snacks and fruit.

Exchange some monies before you fly to Crete.

Rubbish needs to be placed in the large bin/skip at the end of the drive (on the main road), purchase some bin bags to make getting rid of rubbish easier.

Make sure you know where the villa is, the address is Villa Galini, C3 Souri Village Resort, Souri Village, Vamos, 73008, Crete, Greece. From the airport, head for Georgioupolis and Vamos, with the villa located between the villages of Souri and Sellia. As you leave the village of Sellia it is down the road on your right, at the cross roads.
Souri Village Resort is situated between the two villages of Sellia and Souri in the hills of the beautiful Greek island of Crete.
